Margo’s journey began as a child, watching her mother sew and learning the beauty of creating something by hand. By age ten, she was making her own clothes. In high school, she became an apprentice in a wedding design studio, where she discovered the world of bridal construction, couture detailing, and gown transformation.
After moving to Texas in 1987, Margo refined her craft through years of luxury tailoring and exclusive work inside high-end NorthPark boutiques. Her reputation grew through precision, artistry, and a deep understanding of how a gown should fit, move, and feel.
Today, Margo West Bridal is known for luxury wedding gown alterations, couture-level transformations, custom bridal design, and an unmatched attention to detail.

Most bridal studios treat alterations as a transaction. A garment comes in, a service is performed, a garment goes out. At Margo West, we have never operated that way. Because we believe the alteration of a wedding gown is not a transaction. It is a transformation. And transformation requires a different kind of engagement.
We work by appointment only. One bride at a time. Because divided attention produces divided results. When you are at Margo West, the studio’s entire focus is on your gown, your vision, and your day. We don’t run appointments in parallel. We don’t rush through consultations to reach the next booking. Each appointment runs as long as it needs to.
This is also why we say yes to work that others refuse. When a bride comes to us having been told that what she wants is "impossible". That her vision cannot be achieved, that her gown cannot be transformed the way she imagines. We take that as an invitation. In 40 years of work, we have found that "impossible" usually means "requires more skill than we have." We have the skill. And we take the work.
