Margo West Bridal gowns

Hello Beautiful! I'm Margo West!

I’ve been sewing for more than 40 years. Growing up, I watched my mother sew and was captivated by the craft. Back then, my sister Lisa and I spent many evenings sewing together just for the pure joy of it.

I was still in high school when I became an apprentice at a local bridal gown shop. Since then, I’ve taken my hand to a vast myriad of luxury garments for all sorts of occasions. Sewing is second nature, and I take enormous pride in my work.

In 1984, a bride came to me because she wanted her sister’s vintage wedding dress restyled.  One ruffle at a time, I remodeled the entire dress. I understood what she wanted to look and feel on her special day. Upon completion, I immediately saw the joy on her face as she stepped out in her newly restyled wedding gown, and my love for bridal couture came rushing back to me. And Margo West, as you know it, was born.

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with countless brides here in Dallas and worldwide alongside my sister Lisa and my amazing team. We have won multiple awards through Wedding Wire, The Knot, and have been featured in various publications like Modern Luxury Magazine, Brides of Austin, Dallas Wedding Guide Magazine and HOUSE OF DIFFA Dallas, runway show and Charity Auction.

This is my sister and right-hand woman, BKA my lifelong friend. We have been sewing together since we were 10; now as business partners, we balance each other perfectly.

Lisa’s warmth, calm demeanor, and impeccable attention to detail make her a bridal dress genius. She will always make our clients’ day by keeping every dress seamlessly on schedule. With our talents combined, we make every bride feel like a princess or at least pretty darn close.

When you enter our shop, I want you to feel welcomed and at ease. I believe that creating the perfect gown should be the most delightful part of your wedding. See you soon, Beautiful!

Love Always,

Margo West
